Pueblos Blancos Music Festival #7

4 days of free concerts with over 25 great bands from around the world, including ~12 from Texas.


In the ancient & spectacular Andalusian mountain villages of Ronda, Montejaque, Olvera & Cortes de la Frontera, in southern Spain!

Focused on North American roots music. including Rock, Soul, Country, Tex-Mex, Latin, Swing, Jazz, Funk & Blues. Música de la Frontera!    

Meetings, cultural exchanges and impromptu musical performances, with international bands & local artists.

One of the first cultural & musical events of its kind in Spain & in Europe! International bands & musicians stay in local villages, learn about the region & share their music with local musicians & music fans, through talks, workshops, excursions & concerts. Legendary international artists like Joe King Carrasco, mixed with great up & coming international bands, young indie-rock groups, & local Spanish bands; playing free concerts every night, after-hours jam sessions with local & international musicians, & shared activities with the performing musicians, local residents & visitors.
 

The Festival is celebrated in los Pueblos Blancos of Andalusia with bands playing concerts in the Auditorio Blas Infante de Ronda, the Plaza Constitution de Montejaque. the Mirador del Tajo de Grazalema. the Plaza del Toros in Villaluenga del Rosario.

Many of the bands come from Texas (many from Austin, the live music capital of the world). Thanks to the support of local councils, other local public institutions, sponsors, & local musicians, the concerts & events are free so that all music fans can attend.
